Giving to the Kohler Art Library
The Kohler Art Library most gratefully welcomes monetary donations and gifts-in-kind (books). From the beginning, the library has benefited in substantial ways from the generous support of its donors. The Kohler Art Library facility was funded by the Kohler family and Kohler Foundation. Other previous donations have allowed us to enrich the research collections through the purchase of limited edition artists’ books, rare and out-of-print materials, expensive items such as illuminated manuscript facsimiles, digital resources, and important titles which fill a particular lacuna.
If you would like to support the Kohler Art Library research collections by making a monetary donation, or if you would like to donate books to the library, please call the Director, Lyn Korenic, at (608- 263-2256). A special fund, the Leonora G. Bernstein Artists’ Book Endowment, was established in 2001 for the support of our artists’ book collection. We are trying to build this endowment to $100,000. If you would like to add your support to the Bernstein Endowment, please contact Niki Graham, Library Development Office, University of Wisconsin Foundation, 1848 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53726 (608) 263-0372.
